If you work in the HVAC&R industry, chances are you either have a row of ASHRAE handbooks sitting on a bookshelf in the office or a stack of ASHRAE Journals at home that you have not had the time to read yet. You know what ASHRAE is and what it does, but what you may not realize is that they have a local chapter for its members that live or work in the Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland and Orange counties in New York and Fairfield County in Connecticut. This chapter is known as the Bi-State Chapter and is centered in the White Plains, NY area.

One of the 15 chapters in Region I, serves its members by offering technical seminars, presented by industry professionals, and the opportunity to network with colleagues. The Chapter has also organized tours of high performance LEED accredited buildings and other sites of interest to its members over the years. Our meetings are normally held at the Casa Rina Restaurant in Thornwood, NY on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. You are invited to visit our Events page for details on future meetings.

Guests are always welcome at our events but we encourage you to join ASHRAE to obtain the full benefits of membership. On behalf of the Bi-State Chapter, we hope to see you at our meetings during the 2017-18 season.
